3. Failed Switch – When electrical switch goes bad, the signal is not transmitted and the pump will not function.  Switches can be fixed, but for a small amount, a new sump pump can be installed.
4. Unusual noises – Over time, dirt and debris can clog the propeller. Strange noises within your pump is a sign of failure.
